Fort Lewis love fest: 4-6 Air Cav comes home
The screaming and waving began as soon as 280 soldiers from a helicopter unit marched into the hangar Tuesday at Fort Lewis. The troops of the 4th Squadron, 6th Air Cavalry Regiment stopped and made a right face toward more than 500 family members and friends who had waited hours to welcome home their heroes from a 15-month deployment in Iraq.
