A Beautiful Acoma Storyteller

I feel very fortunate to have this storyteller in my home. Every time I look at her it seems
like I see something new. I do not know if her mouth being closed means something significant to the potter, Darlene Lee Vallo. Could it be when she made this, the storyteller she was
thinking of was deceased?

I purchased her at the
Acoma Pueblo in 1995 or 96??
