It is a good thing the Democrats are trying to do here. Republicans have used sexual orientation as a way to intimidate their fellow Members for too long. The Employment Nondiscrimination Act (ENDA) would protect everyone, even members of the House and Senate. Churches and the military would be exempt. I can't quite figure out how the Democrats will get it passed in the Senate though. After all, Republicans use sexual orientation the way Joe McCarthy used communism. (I was delighted when Senator Larry Craig decided to stand up to the bullies who demanded his resigination.)
