Actually the Roman Catholic Church got more than a thump on the head,
it was whacked pretty good.
Which I've always thought was God seeking their attention.
Now it sounds like Pope Benedict has started to get the message. :)

The Roman Catholic Church, which I love BTW, needs this.
Apparently, God didn't think Pope Benedict was gonna do it.
Or maybe,
because God knew about the 1985 letter and we didn't ......
whatever, my point is,
God stepped up, took ahold of the matter and put into motion
the necessary actions to cleanse the church,
bring peace to the victims,
and return the Roman Catholic Church to her place of honor before God.

During the meeting at the Apostolic Nunciature, the Vatican's official headquarters in Malta,
the pope promised the Roman Catholic Church
would do all it could to bring abusers to justice and
implement safeguards for children in the future.
We have been given a rare opportunity to witness God doing Gods work.
This is an amazing time to be alive!
