It cracks me up to hear conservative Republican tax hating citizens of the USA - who, no doubt, take every tax deduction known to their accountants and pay as little as possible to the United States government use the following sentence:
"we pay taxes to the government and expect to see results"
or this one:
"we pay taxes and expect the government to use the money wisely"
What I want to know is, who is the 'WE' they reference?
Why is it non taxpaying conservative Republican citizens want to align themselves with the rest of us when it suits them to use us for cover?
I'd like to hear just one of these non taxpaying conservative Republican citizens say to the public,
"I don't pay as much in taxes as most folks pay, but what I do pay I want to be used wisely."
Paying taxes to the non taxpaying conservative Republican citizens is the same as going to war, 'its OK for the other guy but, don't ask me to serve'.
