Dear Lifeline Systems

Y'all are making life easier for senior citizens. The medical alert system available from Lifeline Systems help senior citizens live independently. Thank you for that. Thankfully, I don't need one, but it is nice to know something like this is available if I ever do. Y'all also offer an auto-alert that is able to detect a fall and place a call for help, so I think it should be possible for you to design an alert system based on the ambient temperature of the surroundings.
Here's why.

An infant is tragically left in a car on a hot day- temperature inside the car going up - at 100 degrees your alert bracelet contacts your response associate who will assess the situation and make a call that could save a child's life.

I want to challenge your design team to come up with a bracelet for infants. This bracelet would be able to call the emergency response team when an ambient temperature of 100 degrees is detected. According to Wiki Answers 102 F or higher is pretty serious. Extended periods of time at this temperature can result in brain damage or death.

And I want you to do this for parents everywhere at a very nominal fee.

Please help stop these tragic deaths. (Columbus Dispatch) news article offers safety tips as well.

Heroic Dog Honored With Bravery Medal

Yahoo News, Tuesday May 8, 2007 Jack Russell terrier saves 5 children from pitbull attacks. George was a very brave little dog who almost certainly prevented severe injury, if not death, to at least one of the children," SPCA chief executive Robyn Kippenberger said.
