RE: Eminent domain activists

After this ruling was handed down, my homestate Ohio got busy and passed a law SB 167 that would establish a moratorium on the use of eminent domain. Gov. Taft signed the bill Nov. 16, 2005, it will expire Dec. 31, 2006, meantime, a task force will study the use and application of eminent domain in our state.

Why don't the people in New Hampshire petition their state legislature for a similar law? Why harrass one member of the Supreme Court? Five justices signed the decision. Seems like these folks ought to be going after all five, or none of them.

Better yet, pass petitions around your state and force your legislature to do the right thing.
