Wednesday, Sept. 3 - Palin speech
I can't believe Palin compared herself to a Pit bull. The Pit bull can be trained to obey any command, no matter how hideous, their master demands. Pit bulls can be trained to attack, maim and/or kill their own breed. Pit bulls are known to be the dog of choice for drug dealers and gangs in the inner cities. The Pit bull connection didn't do anything for that football player, Michael Vick. Is Palin saying she is in training? Is she saying she will do anything JMc asks of her? Is she saying she likes Pit bulls? What? There are plenty of dog breeds that would better represent her so called fearless ideology.
Thursday, Sept. 4 - McCain speech
John McCain used the word 'reform' one time in his acceptance speech. Talking about Palin he used words like 'stand up for what's right' 'shake up Washington.' The word 'change' was used 9 times; 8 times prefaced by the word 'we' and one time prefaced by the word 'I'. He used the word 'American' at least 2 dozen times and despite all this he lost me when he said to his Republican audience, "I work for you." He didn't say, I will work for all Americans. He didn't say, we will work for all Americans.
So why did I get the impression that John McCain is all about reform?

Consider yourself a bubba kind of guy? No, Bill Clinton isn't the guy Dick Armey is referring to. Nothing about Bill Clinton suggests low economic status and limited education. Wikipedia To be the bubba Dick Armey blesses you also have to be racist in your heart. You have to be the kind of guy who will work with a black man, and resent taking his direction. You have to have hate festering in your heart. You have to be able to keep your hate and resentment hidden behind a facade of tolerance. You have to be able to say with a straight face that Republicans do not encourage this kind of behavior. (The same Republicans who seated 36 black delegates at their convention.)
Are you tired of all the talk about race and racism? Blacks who strive to improve their lot and our country are not the problem. Bubba, you are the reason it doesn't end. You keep hate alive. You are the problem.
